CubeXL’s are perfect for use as
near-field monitors. Set on stands or on a bookshelf, they fill
a 5,000 ft3 room with concert level sound.
Theater Systems
Configure the front stage of a theater
with three CubeXL’s across the front and a Cube
subwoofer. Running the CubeXL’s full range delivers
multiple sources of bass for unmatched impact and performance.
CubeXL’s are efficient, and power handling exceeds 200w
per channel, making them perfect for use with AV Receivers.
Crossover Networks
We build the CubeXL crossover with high
quality electrical components. We use a glass PCB board and low
distortion capacitors. For increased transient response and
clarity, we use our TransientEdge® 500v capacitors in both
the tweeter and bass unit circuit.
Cabinetry
We construct our cabinets from 3/4"
MDF and finish them in a black ash vinyl
veneer. Top and bottom plates are machined
from 1/4" brushed and hard anodized aluminum. The plates
brace the cabinet and virtually eliminate cabinet resonances.
Boundary tuning helps overcome common room
acoustic problems.
Grilles
Grilles float in front of the cabinet to
eliminate defraction, and are permanently attached to eliminate
vibrations.
Drivers
The CubeXL uses custom-built drivers,
including dual 1" soft-dome neodymium tweeters and two
impressive 6-1/2" bass units tuned for maximum bass
output.
Dispersion Pattern
We developed a unique diagonal dispersion
pattern which helps reduce reflections from side walls at the
listening position. Vocals and on-screen effects are cleaner
with less distortion.
CubeXL speakers can be placed horizontally
or vertically.
The CubeXL is a bookshelf-sized,
full-range theater speaker. Able to produce bass to the
subwoofer regions, the CubeXL delivers high impact in mid-sized
theaters. Vocals are smooth, never harsh. And bass
performance will impress you with its depth and clarity.
