Floating Grille Audiophile Speaker
Product Description
Behind the elegant floating grille is a
speaker system built using the same components used in all Bay
Audio cabinet speakers. The JM In-Wall Subwoofer fits into a
standard stud bay and provides deep, articulate bass. The
subwoofer is powered by an outboard rack-mountable amplifier.
2-Channel Systems
Use the JM In-Wall Subwoofer in full-range
2-channel systems with the JMi, or JTi floating grille in-wall
speakers.
Theater Systems
Use multiple JAM In-Wall Subwoofers in
built-in theaters.
Frame
Our anodized aluminum frame holds the
speaker system rigidly in the wall, reducing vibrations which
cause distortion.
Grille
Our custom–perforated grille floats
in front of the speaker, covering all
hardware. It can be painted to match your
walls.
Electronic Pi Space tuning balances bass
response throughout the room.
Speaker Baffle
We use a 1¼" medite baffle to
isolate the speaker system from the wall. You’ll
hear deeper, more articulate bass.
Drivers
Dual custom-built 8" bass units are
shallow enough to fit into a standard stud bay, yet provide
plenty of controlled output.
Installation
No back box is required for the JM In-Wall
Subwoofer, so you can mount it in existing walls.
Amplifier Design
Our external PowerPacks includes controls
for boundary, phase, and crossover point. These amplifiers are
a unique class A/B digital design for smooth output with low
heat production.
