2-Channel Systems
MiniCubes are perfect for use as
near-field monitors. Set on stands, or on a bookshelf, they
fill a 3000 ft3 room with concert level sound.
Theater Systems
Configure a small theater with MiniCubes
and a Cube subwoofer. Run the Cubes crossed over at 60Hz to
eliminate midbass standing waves. MiniCubes are efficient, with
power handling to 100w per channel, making them perfect for use
with AV Receivers.
Crossover Networks
We build the MiniCube crossover with high
quality electrical components. We use a glass PCB board and low
distortion capacitors. For increased transient response and
clarity, we use BayAudio TransientEdge® capacitors
throughout the circuit.
Terminal Plate
The inset terminal plate is flush with the
cabinet, so the MiniCube can be mounted
directly to walls.
Cabinetry
We construct our cabinets from
¾" MDF, and finish them with a black ash or white
vinyl veneer. The top and bottom plates are machined from
¼" brushed and anodized aluminum. The plates brace
the cabinet and virtually eliminate cabinet resonances.
Grilles
Our custom formed grilles float in front
of the cabinet to eliminate defraction. Grilles are permanently
attached to the cabinet to eliminate vibrations.
Drivers
The MiniCube uses custom-built drivers,
including a 1" soft-dome neodymium tweeter and an
impressive 5-1/4" bass unit tuned for maximum bass output.
MiniCube speakers fit just about anywhere.
The MiniCube is the first value-priced
audiophile mini-monitor with bass. Real bass to 65Hz. And with
output to 102 dB with 100w, this speaker can be used in small
theaters, bedrooms, offices -- anywhere a small bookshelf
speaker is required.
